When does a typical night shift begin at a hospital?

I'm looking in to working the night shift at a hospital as a unit secretary. The job post says nights and weekends but it doesn't say what the hours are.

non-nursing personnel typically work 8 hour shifts night 11:30 or midnight until 7:30- 8am day 730- 4pm evening 3:30 - midnight or something like that. if you are going to work 12 hour shifts- it is usually 7am- 7pm give or take an hour.

Night shifts depends upon the hospital management. Hospitals are not forced to start their night shift with any authority, they do this internal and it is them who regulate their shift. So, different strokes for different folks.

depends on the facility and what shifts they usually have; in a 12 hour shift facility, usually night shift can be 6p-6a but most popular is 7p-7a.

Most places are 11-7, unless you are on 12 hour shifts. Many 12 hour shifts are 7-7. Keep in mind that you may be required to get there half an hour before shift starts, & be a little after shift for getting off.
