Since the handling of detainees is a military decision, why is Congress trying to micromanage the war effort?
I suppose tomorrow the Senate is going to tell the President specific locations where he can and can't deploy troops in Afghanistan? Why doesn't the Congress butt out and let the commander-in-chief do his job?
