| DemocRATs, Why did Obama nominated Sotomayor, a hispanic lady but not an Asian or Indian judge?I wont say white because that is not "change", I thought your party stands for equality, am I correct? Then why did Obama pick Miss Sotomayor? Has he considered Asian or Indian judge? Or did he picked Sotomayor to appeal to the Hispanic votes?

She was the FIRST Hispanic judge. Plus, he said she is the most qualified person for the job--more than any of the other justices when they were nominated for the job.
He could only pick one nominee.
He also picked a woman because there are more men on the court. So he took out 2 birds with one stone.
Blacks and Hispanics have it harder than Asians since we endure the most violent attacks, racism, sexism, profiling, etc.
Asians are treated well, whites fill their movies, they fill white people's movies, whites respect them as "smart," etc.
Blacks and Hispanics are only treated with respect because we FOUGHT for it for more than 100 years.
Indians face a lot as well (Indian women bleaching their skin to look white--with help from the ads produced by the "Fair and Lovely" company) but I'm sure their time will come.
And listen RePUBlican, don't lecture about race to us. Your party is 90?hite and only 26?f Americans now admit to being Republican.
Your party's house of cards is tumbling down on a tidal wave of racism (attack minority issues & people, reject & disrespect most of the other races, etc.), sexism (throwing 2 female protesters in a cold jail cell naked for TRESPASSING & charges were dismissed), torture (trying to force innocent people to connect Al Qaeda and Iraq), scandals (refusing to fund soldiers' body armor so that Hillary Clinton & kids had to go around Bush administration & give it to them, ignoring information that suicide bombers were going to use planes to hit the towers, forging documents to get us to invade Iraq, and more).
Obama came in at the right time and he nominated the right justice. It is obvious.
"Nonviolence is the answer to the crucial political and moral questions of our time: the need for man to overcome oppression and
violence without resorting to oppression and violence. Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge,
aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love."
--Martin Luther King, Jr., Nobel Prize acceptance speech, Stockholm, Sweden, December 11, 1964.
"Man was born into barbarism when killing his fellow man was a normal condition of existence. He became endowed with a
conscience. And he has now reached the day when violence toward another human being must become as abhorrent as eating
another's flesh."
--Martin Luther King, Jr., Why We Can't Wait, 1963.
"Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's sense of values
and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false
and the false with the true."
--Martin Luther King, Jr., Strength To Love, 1963.
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
--Martin Luther King Jr., Letter from Birmingham Jail, April 16, 1963
"Ten thousand fools proclaim themselves into obscurity, while one wise man forgets himself into immortality."
--Martin Luther King Jr.
Your party is WAY too violent, war-hungry and self-centered. I vote them off the island. You have turned your backs on America with talk of secession...so America has turned their backs on YOU.
Fringe radical groups are destructive and manipulative. That's why all the moderates are leaving your party. They've seen your party in the light, and all the viruses, bugs and crabs in your kitchen has disgusted them.
Rush Limbaugh wants Obama to fail and America to fail as well?
It's time to shut this horrendous business down before it explodes and tries to take America with it.
