is there a way for employers to know your job history that you leave out on resume?
I was wondering if there is a database where employers can look to see if you have worked in other places besides what you have listed in your resume/application. If you do not list a particular previous employer, is there a way employers can find out?

Possible it could show up in a background check such as ChoicePoint, LexisNexis or something. You can request a copy of your file with those companies though, so if an employer needs to background check you, you will know what they could possibly find... More

hm... I don't think so.. as long as you don't have gaps in your employment history (or if you do have a good reason) they shouldn't need to want to investigate that anyway they can ask if you have had any gov. help tho like food stamps etc..
