What to choose? Electronics or Computers?

Many of my friends as well as my family says that Electronic & electrical (OR Electronics and Communication) Engineering is a better option , keeping in view the wider array of opportunities. They say, that computer engineering has a narrower scope in the future...less opportunities. But, my interest is mainly in Computers and i am good at it too. What do u think i should choose- Electronics OR Computer Science? Please answer seriously..i have to decide my course for university. Thanx in advance!
