LOL: Burger Kings franchises put up "GLOBAL WARMING IS BALONEY" signs?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/jun/05/burger-king-global-warming-us An investment group that own 40 Burger King franchises put up on their signs "Global-Warming Is Baloney" and of course BKing is trying to make them take it down but this group is saying NO. hahah, although I agree that as owners of the burger king corporation it is their job to ensure standardization across all of their stores and this sign is not acceptable unless burger king is officially taking the stance that "Global Warming is Baloney". But still, my question is, who has noticed that just like in the 70's where all the scientists were unanmymous about "Global Cooling" and how we would have an ice age again in 100 years if we dont stop polluting etc, but then started moving away from it, and now global warming scientists seem to be doing the same thing as well as the public in general. Do you think this trend will continue of less alarmism created by scattered and inconsistent global warming research. EDIT: Please dont be the first guy to point out its actually supposed to be spelled "bologna". dont be that guy, and these stores are located in the south ok. Nuff said

It's all the f***s caused by those flame-broiled Whoppers that is causing global warming in the first place.

So, Burger King sells baloney now?

The reason they are doing it is because they are major contributors to the problem of climate change so they are jumping on the global warming is a hoax thing before people catch on to just how much their industry contributes to this crisis...selfish bastards!

Nice...I think I'll head to BK for dinner tonight ;-) Have you noticed the ivory tower guys and gals are now calling it "climate change" instead of warming? It's their relabeling just in-case the warming doesn't go as planned...jeshhhh

There was one major article on global cooling in the 1970s. It was not a movement, but the view of a handful of scientists outside the mainstream. Those people still exist today, but the are calling Global Warming Deniers.
