Who are the people that visit doctor's offices selling medicines?

They come in and speak with the dr. and perhaps drop off samples. Who or what companies do they work for?Are they independent salesmen? How do you get into that business?

Their called drug representatives. Basically they go around and educate a doctor on any new medications that their company may have out of if they have any programs for existing medications. Things like what it's prescribed for and how it should be dosed. Sometimes they will drop off coupons for that item to encourage... More
