Hows the projected job scene in london for later this year?

Hows the projected job scen in london for later this year? Any ideas about whether things will pick up? currently working abroad but want to return latter end of this year. However my job is secure here and im concerned about jobs in london. Im talking any job here, entry level, anything. Hows the situation now?

Hard to project at the moment, Lloyds have just off loaded 1500 staff right across the board, yet house prices are on the up again, which would suggest that the slump is over (according to estate agents). So it's a case of testing the water before you take the plunge. Good luck.

Yes it is hard to say really.. the rental market is supposed to be picking up too so thinks are looking better. Jobs in the public sector are ok it's the private sector you will struggle with.

There are always jobs in London, the main problem is the competition. The economy has collapsed everwhere apart from prosperous south east so companies in London are inundated with applicants from across the midlands and the north and picking the best people only. It will probably be like this for a good year or so yet... More
