Which is cheaper to repair?

I have a 2005 Volkswagon beetle convertible, and it's having various electrical issues. Having discovered that replacing the motor on one of my little windows will cost me $700 plus labor, I'm looking to trade it in for something that isn't so expensive to repair. I was looking at a corvette, 1990, and was wondering, how do you know how expensive a brand is to repair? Are Corvettes generally cheaper, the same, or more expensive than beetles? What about Mazda brand?

Depends where you get them fixed as well as the cost of parts. Never take them to a dealer service centre. the cheapest way to know a car is cheaper to repair is buying the parts. if you can do it yourself by all means dfo it by yourself you save alot of money that way.
