What kind of job can a fifteen year old get?

My nephew is fifteen, and he desperately wants a job so he can get a cell phone. The only problem is he can't think of what to apply for. He has no wish to work in the food chain business and asked me to ask this question for him. I hope you can help us!

If he is hardworking and smart, he can try to work independently. For example, he could do landscaping in the neighborhood. That's what I did when I was 15. It's not bad because its tax free if you make less than $300 (and I don't think anyone will tell if that amount is exceeded). Also you can have flexible hours.

A fifteen year old can do lots of things. what i have learned from this world is that there are jobs all around you. like going to a farm if you live in an rurul area. or even mabee he could cut neighbors grass...(great job) and you could wait till he is sixteen and put him in a macdonalds! hope this helps!
