questions for HBO's True Blood fans...also how does it connect to the book?

ok..i just finished the entire first season and im hooked---i dont get HBO and i dont really want to wait to buy the second season...can i download/stream episodes---im not talking like shitty quality from limewire---is there somewhere to do it like hulu or what the regular network stations have (like ABC...) also..when sam sees the rene's vest at the bar he has a flashback to when he was rolling around in some bed sniffing the sheets...i remember this from an earlier episode and i beleive it was dawns bed (correct me if im wrong)..anyways at the time, i thought that sam mightve been the killer so i didnt think much of it, but now i know he was not, what reason did he have for rolling around in the dawn's bed???? i have heard that season 1 follows the 1st book in the series loosely...is season 2 like the 2nd book?---also, i bought book 1 because i loved the series so much--is it almost the exact same or are there enough differences to make it worthwhile...dont go into to much detail if it is different

Unfortunate Hulu does not stream HBO shows. You might find it at surfthechannel.com but not in good quality. Sam rolls around in dawns bed to get the scent of the killer, because he is sort of playing a dog! When he smells renes vest he is going back to that scent.
