I'm 16. Just wondering of there is any major advantages of having the ppl. If so, how much? Is there a major difference, and most importantly is it worth going through the haste of it all compared to the benefits?

You cannot become a commercial pilot without a private pilot's license. The latter is a mandatory prerequisite for the former.

You have to hold the Private Airman Certificate (PPL) first, before you can apply for any other certificates and ratings. You will not be applying for jobs as a commercial pilot without the Commercial Airman Certificate (CPL) and the common ratings: Instrument, multi-engine, and instructor. Good luck!
