Made in China and other third world countries?

I shop at stores in America. My alarm clock from Walmart was made in China. My shoes from Payless Shoesource were made in China. My Holy Bible was printed in China. My pajama pants from Lane Bryant were made in Indonesia. My tank top was made in Vietnam. My Taco Bell employee hat was made in Philippines. What's up with that? Educate me!

You may shop at stores in America, but the stores in America get the best prices on the wholesale level from the countries overseas. Overseas, they pay a whole lot less per hour than any American would work for. Kinda like $12 a week overseas vs. $12 an hour in the US... More

Cheap labor. They probably pay the worker about 2 cents an hour to produce something that costs them $5 to make, then they turn around and sell it to us for $10 or even $50. American's wanted more things, faster and cheaper. Well, we got it, but we sold our souls to third world countries to get it.

It's because the world abuses third world countries by using their children and even adults by making them work in shops for as little as 4 cents a day.
