How should the electric bill be split?

This is a tuff situation everyone. Long story short, I own a home except for 1/8 of it and thats because when it was signed over to me one of my sister refused to sign it over, so it stayed like that. She own 1/8 of the whole house. I have a 5 bedroom house and she has ownership of just her room, 12x12. As of now, her, her husband and her 15 yr old daughter all live in that room. They had 2 beds and very little space in there. When she first moved in, she brought her 2 rocking chairs and just placed them in my living room without even asking if it was ok, she brought all of her things from her kitchen and just placed everything on my counter tops and in my cabinets. They brought all of thier plants and helped themselves to our tool shed in the back as well. The first Sat they stayed, she put alot of groceries in my fridge. When I bought groceries for my family there was not a space for me to put them because of everything she had already put in there. I was so upset. They agreed to pay half on the bills without us even asking about it yet, so that stayed at that. Well, then my sister lost her job and had to move in from another city, so she started staying with us again. Her husband said one day that he didn't feel that he should be paying for someone else who sat around all day on the computer with the a.c on, so basically complaining about my sisters lifestyle, when before no one else complained about it so why should he? They then came and asked if we could split the bills 3 ways, between myself, my husband and her husband, that's because she isn't working. Well, that's not my fault, we would have to pay for her to use electricity all day that she's here so like w*f. Anyway, I think that they are gonna say something now because we just put in an a.c in our room and they are not liking it because they are gonna probably have to pay more. Right now we are spliting the bills in half but if you ask me, they are using up way more than 1/8 of my house, they are using my fridge, counter space in my kitchen, my washer and dryer, the whole yard is full of their thing, and then they are wanting to pay 1/3, I also think that they shouldn't just move in and expect to set their own rules, they are living with me regardless of 1/8 ownership. I could easliy buy her out for about 5,000 or less for her to just leave, but I'm not able to do that right now. I feel that just because they are there we have to change our life syle just because they don't like it. What do you guys think? Their daughter uses my cordless for hours until it running low on battery and then puts it back, whats that about.

First of all, if the house has two names on it (yours and your sisters), then I hope you have it written somewhere that she only has a 1/8 share in the house...otherwise she will legally own half and you got taken. continuously say she only owns 1/8 of this why should she even pay more than 1/... See a lawyer about getting them out. I would also charge them for using your space daily. Her 1/8 does not entitle her to use your 7/8. I don't know how you guys legally did that to start out with. Never heard of such. On utilities: Add up how many people are in household (say 6, for instance). Say your utilities bill... More

Why do new members come in here with trash stories? Using any room besides what she legally owns is your problem, since you are allowing it. Sharing a room with her husband and 15 year old daughter, could be turned into Child Protective Services. Please don't play here.
