Is it possible to become a California professional land surveyor with a degree in Civil Engineering?

I am currently enrolled in UC Davis as a civil engineering major. I want to become a licensed professional land surveyor. The only colleges in california that offer a surveying program are cal state fresno and pomona, but I want to stay in a University of California.

If I was you I would contact the State board..To be a surveyor You must show proficiency by examination. To get to the point where your able to take the test is what your after...the state board guys will know..From the E

You need six semester units or equivalent to take the CA surveying exam and get your license. This means that you need atleast two (3 unit) classes if you are on a semester system see this website for the details
