With China building one coal power plant per week, exactly how will "Cap and Trade" create jobs here?

Or will manufacturers simply take their production to where energy is cheap? Sounds like a jobs program for China to me. You're referring to a cap on sulfur dioxide, not carbon. Big difference. I'm trying to use a nationalized company to build my argument? What on earth are you talking about?

Well, the first cap and trade bill was passed in 1990. Are we completely devoid of businesses now? excuse me, is that americans, the ones who believe in free markets, asking for protectionism. Hmm a bit contradictory, you want free markets, but want to restrict imports thus restricting the free market. I think you need to rethink your stances, you can't have your cake and eat it.
