Would it be stupid to go in the navy as an aviation machinist mate if i know nothing about mechanics?
I don't know anything about mechanics at all but i want to do a job where I can be aircrew. Would it be stupid to pick this job or any job that has to do with mechanics, or will they teach you everything you need to know.

As long as you have the ASVAB score for the job, you will be taught everything you need to know.

Before I joined the Navy I knew absolutely nothing about electronics - they taught me everything I needed to know and more about the subject. Great schools.
