What is required to be an Animal Cop like the ones on Animal Planet?

I am a senior and I have to decide what I'm going to do for a living. I'm really leaning towards either zoology or animal cop. But what exactly would I need to be an Animal Cop? Like do I need to get involved with anything now like an intern? Anyones help would be greatly appreciated!

it would be better if you could get an internship. you probably should ask some people who are animal cops for guidance and to network yourself. you'd also probabky need to go to some animal school or something.
