Do you feel guilty that illegal aliens are losing their jobs?
Tough Times For Mexican Immigrants Hurt disproportionately by job losses, remittances home are plunging. HOUSTON -- In light of unsettling unemployment figures released Thursday, consider buying one of the estimated 8 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. a beer this Fourth of July. The effects of 9.5% unemployment would be worse without them, says Gordon Hanson, director of the Center on Pacific Economies at the University of California San Diego, describing illegal immigrants as "shock absorbers." "The pronounced cyclicality of the employment of immigrants means less pronounced cyclicality in the employment of native workers," Hanson says. An estimated 200,000 to 600,000 illegal immigrants have lost their jobs in the past two years, perhaps 60% of them from Mexico.

I don't care if they lose their jobs. Especially if they are here illegally. If they want to be here legally they should start their paperwork and do what is correct and not just selfish... More

No I don't. I'm sad about Americans losing their jobs. We need to worry about our own people before worrying about others. Shame on you for even bringing this up. You must be an illegal alien.

Nope, I hired one the other day and said I needed 5 more for a job and would pay $10 a head for recruiting. They all showed up just in time for the border patrol to cart them all off.
