When someone with a Dr. written disability is denied disability and has?

asked for an appeal, Would the go in front of a county Judge, or other? Thanks for any information. This claim pertains to SSDI. Yes, social security.

If this claim pertains to SSDI or SSI then there are 4 appeal levels. Each time you are denied you go to a higher authority. Level 1: is a general reconsideration hearing. Level 2: is a hearing before an Administrative Law judge (ALJ). Level 3: is a review conducted by an Appeals Council. Level 4: is a review by a... More

Who denied the disability? Social Security? It is an informal appeal, the setting is usually in an office, nothing to be afraid of.

You will be mailed a notice of the time, date and location to appear in front of Administrative Law Judge within the Social Security System.
