Are there any colleges with homeless shelters or subsidized housing nearby?
I need to go to college, but I can't fathom how I'll be able to afford to pay for a place to live. All I need is a place to get clean, and a place to crash at night, then back to school! As for working and going to school full time, that's more than I can handle, although I know lots of people do it. I can live a bit poorly until my education leads me to a well-paying job so I can afford a place to live.

You will probably be able to get a student loan to help pay. Another option is read the school's newspaper and look for ads searching for roommates. You may have to get a part time job to help pay.

Have you tried exploring financial aid options? Many schools are committed to meeting your financial needs through jobs, grants, scholarships, etc, if they feel you demonstrate sufficient need.
