Is it reasonable for his ex wife to call home renovations child abuse? How to respond to this email?

The mother sends requests that we stop renos because she considers it "child abuse" that we are exposing her daughter to toxic chemicals. She frequently sends emails "telling" us what we can feed the child, and that we are killing her because we don't use the bath products etc the mother uses. We are reasonable people, and look into the dangers of all we do in our house, but it feels invasive to receive 2-3 emails a week of this kind.

Don't respond to her and she will get angry, but who cares. If they make sense, respond, if they are crazy, ignore them, but print them off and save them in case you need to show an attorney. No judge on this planet is going to forbid you from remodeling the house, or using cleaning chemicals. The lady is a control... More

Hey now, she's a mom! And she sounds like the kind of person who doesn't believe in toxic stuff, junk food, or stuff that isn't healthy.........she has a right to speak her concern and mind if these things are her beliefs you need to stay out of it sense your not the mom. or dad.

you put it perfectly it is invasive, tell her in your home you do things your way not her way, the child is safe and content, tell her the child's best interest is always taken into consideration, and then say END OF SUBJECT. BE FIRM,

She envy you because you have her daughter and her husband, and she feel lonely being far from her daughter, and she wants to pull you too to that insanity, of course she wouldn't wish you good, she will feel happy if you will be in trouble. Maybe its better if you cut her e-mails and just talk to her in the phone to... More
