Why do people look at Nelson Mandella as a saint or good person when clearly isn't?

The man was a terrorist. His government and the current government are taking away white people's land. Many people are moving out of the country. What gives? Why do people look upon Nelson or black people in general as "oppressed". They aren't. They get more rights and have more access to jobs than whites. Ever heard of positive discrimination? NO discrimination should be tolerated.
