If a female lieutenant is prohibited from being in any direct combat jobs what is her job (job description?

, duties, etc.)? I am a female and I am applying to officer school and yes I have a four year degree bachelors degree. I know that I can't fill direct combat jobs so what would be my job in the military if I was a ground lieutenant?

If you were a US Marine Officer you will be trained in combat (TBS) even if you're not in a combat MOS field. The rule is all Marines will have basic combat skills to defend themselves and for Officers- that all Officers regardless of MOS can have the skills to lead a platoon into combat.
