Should Bernanke be replaced after his current term?if Yes who should replace him & what does he/she offer?

Ben Bernanke's term ends early next year, some feel he has done a good job and others feel differently. So if he is to be replaced, who is more suitable for the job and what does the new person have to offer that is different and currently lacking?

When he was originally appointed, I was very skeptical about his ability to run the monetary policy of the US. After the credit crises I stand corrected. I agree with Roubini who praised Bernanke for averting a near depression by using instruments which are not in the traditional toolbox of monetary policy. Of course... More

I think he has done a very good job, but many of the things he did are very controversial, He was not criticized much during the crisis because no one was willing to take the responsibility for solving the problem, but now that the crisis over the people with long knives are coming out of hiding to get him.
