How hard is it for an How hard is it for an Undocumented student to find a job near UC Berkeley?

My friend is undocumented and will be attending UC Berkeley next spring. How hard would it be for him to find a job as an undocumented student and in what field/company? Would it be easier to find one in Los Angeles since there is a bigger Latino population there?
