Why do liberals argue over unemployment when there is plenty of jobs open in our fine military? Why?

Why do liberals complain about unemployment? There is plenty of technical jobs available in the military, because we all know liberals don't have the backbone to defend our country out in the field. But if you want to hide behind a computer screen while terrorists hate our freedoms there are technical jobs.

Wow. h*************u? There are plenty of other people besides liberals that are out of jobs and layed off and complaining about the unemployment in this country.

That would be the whole question of working FOR the country instead of working against it.

Good points. There is no way unemployment should ever be above 5%. The military is willing to recruit and train. There will always be a few who do get rejected, usually due to health. And who wouldn't want to support your country and it's rights?

Right now, with Obama's agenda being so unclear, I wouldn't even encourage anyone to go in the military. He is cutting the budget and I don't even trust who his friends are. He does bow to the Saudis, who paid for his education.

Good point. You would think they would be lining up to join. I mean they don't have to worry about war under their beloved Obama, right? You know because he said he was going to end wars and strengthen foreign relations, they believe him don't they?

Ignorance truly knows no bounds. My father was in the armed forces for 30 years. He gave me great advice: Avoid the military, the pay isn't so great.

Typically, Moderates and Conservatives comprise the majority of the military. Not surprising since they also comprise @ 80% of the population. Still, many Liberal leaning people have a deep seated scorn for the military and thus wouldn't consider a military carrier. Good Question though!

There's nothing to argue about. Unemployment is high. It has been for about a year. BTW, not everyone is suitable for the military. They aren't going to take a 50 year old IT tech in the military. The notion that everyone in the military is conservative is a crock cooked up by the Right.
