Why is the city of Washington DC such a political disaster when all our great leaders work there?

Housing, crime, education, jobs are all a national disgrace. Should federal government employees be required to live within its boundaries? Shouldn't it be a testing ground for our nations policies.

You could say that the reason DC is such a disaster is because they have no say in federal government, as well.

The answer to your question is easy. We have too many fricken liberals in office. We need republicans atleast bush didn't make this worse, president Obama is screwing everything up. McCain should be our president.
