How much would it cost to hire 1,500 protesters?
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/08/07/health-care-town-hall-turns-violent-tampa/ So if the Republicans are hiring out protesters to come to these town hall meetings on Obamacare, how could they possibly be able to afford paying for 1,500 protesters? And for hired people who only care about getting money, these people seemed to be pretty upset. The GOP must have done an excellent recruiting job, don't you think?

the idea is ludicrous, cost would be enormous, we are not being paid to speak up, we have yet to have a charter bus! even a sandwich ! We are doing so because we want our country back! And our congress needs to listen

Ask ACORN and Obama. They know what it costs to hire voters, protestors, you name it !

I've been protesting 0bama's Health Care Deform for free. And believe me, my time IS valuable.

You really think the GOP hires these protestors? They likely have PACs or lobbys which do this for them. You really think hiring 1500 for 2 or 3 hours of work is that expensive to them?

Maybe less than they pay for professional lobbyists? Lot of unemployed people right now looking for some quick cash.

I loved it when an old woman who is on Medicare says that "she doesn't want a government health plan." Too funny. You can't fix stupid.

Let's see, the insurance companies make billions each year profiting from people's illnesses. So, I guess they just might be able to hire even more than 1,500 just plain folks.

IDK..... it depends on what ACORN is paying.
