Can a 18 year old adopt her 2 little brothers?

I am soon to be 18 and I am wanting to adopt my 2 little brothers because of the life style my parents have. I think i can give them a little more better life I mean they wont have everything they want but i will make sure they have everything they are going to need. Would that be good enough for them or would they need more? My brothers are my life and i would rater have then let some stranger raise them. Because as of right now my parents are involved with the Social Service Workers.

If you have a job and a place, you could get custody. They give preference to blood relatives. However, you'll need the social worker's approval... More

No. However, if the kids have been removed by Social Services, you may be able to be named guardian.

If you can financially handle their care (and you wont be able to get state support since you arent their 'legal parent') just ask your parents if they can come live with you. The state, if you adopt them, will want to make you jump through hoops and they wont let you adopt them any ways if you cant afford them without... More

They would probably think you are too young--same rules apply to guardianship as adoption. If they are removed they will be placed with an older relative if one exists that can pass all the requirements. If not they will go to regular foster care.

as long as you have a job and a nice house for them to live you should have no problem if your parents give you custody its simple but it may be harder if they fight. I adopted my brother and sister when I was 19 but my parents did not fight me they did drugs and did not want to get caught. good luck!
