MY builder's brick guys did a horrendous job. Is there anything I can do?

I am buying from KB Homes, and we are about halfway through building the house, and we gave $1000 in earnest money. The construction manager has said there is no chance of them redoing the work. The brickwork looks as if it was done by kindergartners. Absolutely unacceptable. The house stands out from the rest of the development like a sore thumb. Can anyone tell me who to contact for some relief? I am in Houston, Texas.

If so, there are plenty of pro-bono lawyers that are willing to help. Look at the contract as well... More

I agree, file a complaint against the complaint with the city and with KB Homes. Also I would talk to the manager again - you are they one buying this house. I would demand that the work would be done correctly.

Get a written estimate from at least two contractors and include the state of the work done in their estimates. Have them... More
