What do you do if the Army is screwing you out of your job and not working very fast to solve the issue?
Well I joined the army to be a 68T. I have completed basic training. Now that I have made it to AIT, I am being told that I do not qualify for the job. I need some advice on what i should do because I am only 18 Yrs old and have no clue what it is I should.

Well, the first thing you should do is review the parameters of your contract. When you signed up you should have seen something in writing saying how long you had signed up for, what bonus you were getting (if any), and what MOS you would have. That's bare minimum... More

Go to the AIT Admissions Office & explain the situation to them... The Army is NEVER very quick about handling things like this... But if you KEEP "leaning on them"- you'll eventually get what you want.... Hang in there... :)

Well alot depends on why they said you do not qualify for the job. But if you actually do not qualify for the job, then you need to choose another mos you want to do.

Depends on the reason why you do not qualify for the job. If it is an error on their part you should be either offered to be retrained into something else or released from contract. If it is an error on your part you are SOL.

if you got a certain MOS in your contract and now you cant have that MOS becuz of something they did than you can get out of that contract . if 68T is not in your contract then your screwed
