What happens at a group job interview?

I have a group job interview for a research assistant position and I'm really nervous. I am not good at talking in front of people. What sort of things do you have to do? Why would they do a group interview - to save time, or to see how you interact? Do they ask you individual questions or do you always have to speak up loudly to say something? Do you have to role play? I have to answer in front of everybody and say something different? Sounds like a nightmare! Thanks.

They have group interviews to see how you measure up to the competition. They wil ask you your interview questions as a group and you will take turns answering them. If you are nervous it will show.
