Genderbender
Ouran highschool host club
-Haruhi is a poor tomboyish student at a school for the ultra-wealthy, able to attend because of a scholarship, and unable to even afford a uniform. One day, she stumbles across the decidedly peculiar but very popular Ouran Host Club. She tries to leave, but accidentally breaks a vase, and unable to pay for it, she's told that she'll have to stay and do odd jobs. That is, until they decide she would be more valuable as a club member. Not realizing she's female due to her appearance, they fix her up and give her a male uniform. She's an instant hit, so they decide to have her keep up the charade even after they find out the truth. Haruhi, being average almost to a fault, doesn't know what to make of the unconventional activities of the Host Club (or of the even more unconventional members), but having little choice, she plays along. Before long, real bonds are formed, friends made, and Haruhi finds herself accepted in a way she could never have been otherwise in this affluent school.
You guys probably read it since it's so popular so moving on...
Hana Kimi
-At age thirteen, Mizuki Ashiya, a Japanese girl growing up in America, saw Izumi Sano high jump on TV for the first time. Amazed by his grace, Mizuki quickly became a huge fan of Sano's. Three years later, high school-age Mizuki decides to return to Japan so that a dream of hers might come true: to see Sano jump in person. Mizuki even goes so far as to transfer into Sano's school, in hopes of being closer to him. Mizuki's wish is granted, and she becomes Sano's roommate. There are two problems, however: Sano has quit the high jump, and he attends an all-boys school, meaning Mizuki now has to disguise herself as a boy morning, noon and night, even in her own room! Unknown to Mizuki, however, Sano finds out her secret fairly quickly, and now a strange feeling has come over the two of them...
This one is quiet popular since it was turned into a actual show
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
-It's the year 2020 AD, and Tokyo II is a city infested with crime. Women can no longer go out in the streets alone without being victimized. Not wanting their daughter to suffer the same fate, Tsukasa Kozuki's cop parents raise her instead as a boy. When they are suddenly killed by one of the yakuza's in-fights, Tsukasa is left orphaned on the streets along with her three brothers. With no other options, she goes to the only person she can think of for help: pokerface Ryuji Shirogami, her classmate of 8 years and also the head leader of the powerful yakuza group, Kuryugumi. Ryuji, whose father was also a victim of the same yakuza fight, agrees to take her on as his personal bodyguard. As they set out to find their enemy, Ryuji slaps on an increasing amount of debt onto Tsukasa using all manners of ploys necessary to keep the reluctant Tsukasa by his side.
Well it's a manga not anime but don't judge it because it's a kickass manga to boot.
AI WO UTAU YORI ORE NI OBORERO!
-Akira Shiraishi, a young high schooler with girlish features even though he's a guy, joins Blaue Rosen, Mizuki Sakurazaka's band.
Their high school life is anything but typical: Mizuki is the prince of her all-girl school while Akira is the princess of the neighboring all-boy school. How will their relationship progress while others try to get back their prince/princess?
NOT YAOI!
It's a O-kay manga but i just don't like it when a guy look feminine...I only like it when it is a yaoi manga...sigh in all i don't like this manga but lots of people do..
1/2 Prince
-It is the year 2100A.D. and humans have developed virtual reality games. Feng Lan, due to a bet with her brother, vows to game without using her "female benefits". Thus, she becomes the first, and only, transgendered character in "Second Life". As her infamy as a blood thirsty warrior rises, can she keep her game identity a secret from her real life acquaintances whom she has beaten to pulp?
I LOVE this manga! I laughed the whole time while reading it. It's really popular but it looks like people judge the manga by it's name and description. To be exact read the manga! It's d**n funny! Oh yea and i would say this manga goes in the reverse harem and tomboy type...
Tomboy type
KAICHOU WA MAID-SAMA!
-Once an all boys school, Seika High, a renowned school full of reckless and filthy students, has recently become a co-ed school. However, with the female population still remaining a minority even after the change over the recent years, Misaki Ayuzawa takes it into her own hands to reform the school and allow a chance for the girls to feel safer
Training, studying and even becoming the first female student council president of the school, Misaki has gained a reputation among the male students body as an uptight boy-hating dictator and as a shining hope for the teachers and fellow female students. However, despite her tough-as-nails appearance, she secretly works part-time at a maid cafe in order to support her family. Unfortunately, her secret is soon revealed when the somewhat impassive Usui Takumi, a popular boy at school, nonchalantly discovers her in a maid uniform after school.
Skip Beat
-Kyoko Mogami lived solely for her childhood friend Shoutaro "Sho" Fuwa. She follows Sho to Tokyo so that he may realize his dream of becoming a famous singer. But when his dream is realized, Kyoko accidentally learns the truth behind his actions of bringing her with him: he was using her as a maid to clean up his apartment.
Shocked and enraged, Kyoko vows revenge against him by beating him at showbiz. With a new look and a new attitude, she joins LME, the agency where Ren Tsuruga--Sho's rival and the number 1 actor of LME--works at; in the hopes of achieving her goal in destroying Shoutaro's pride.
Along the way, however, she will discover who she really is, make new friends, and find herself at the heart of some interesting situations that will change her life, and everyone else's life, forever.
I never really finished the manga but it's really good but in the end i'm those type of people who don't finish what they start...
Penguin Boys
-Hina's new high school is strange to say the least. She moves back to her old home town only to find that the high school is run by two opposing factors, and students identify themselves based on the color of their school uniforms: Black for the followers of the loud, violent Nishizaki, and white for the followers of quiet, clean-freak Isshiki. And then there are the "grays," who wear street clothes. Hina finds herself stuck between the leaders of the two factions, and it seems to be turning violent.
As one might guess from the girly art and the Ribon publisher, the plot develops a romance element pretty early on in the series. There's a love square involved among the leaders of the groups. Who will Hina choose?
This manga is kinda good, I especially like the main character becuase she is assertive and independent than other girly manga like some.
Bara No Maria
-Maria Rose is burdened with debt after a strange event, and her sword, "Fake Consuming Inferno" is confiscated. At that time, Katari, a member of her clan, got a hold of some profitable information, but to obtain it, they have to go to an "Underground Raid", but things aren't as easy as it seems...
This is the story of love, friendship, and adventure of the beautiful "Cracker", Maria Rose.
I LOVE this manga but sadly it's hardly updated sigh...It's kind of confusing too since the maincharacter keeps saying "I'm not a little girl" which in Japanese means i'm not a boy. Confusing eh? But i guess its identify as a shoujo manga. Unlike other mangas the main character is sarcastic and intelligent. Something hard to find nowadays.
Reverse Harem
*Ouran Highschool Host Club
*Penguin boys
*1/2 prince
la corda d'oro
-Every few years, the prestigious Seiso Academy holds a prominent musical competition, and only the very best students at the Academy are allowed to participate. Though all are eligible to apply, only students from the music department actually make it to the competition...until now.
Hino Kahoko goes to this amazing school, though she is in the regular department and knows nearly nothing of music. That is until one day, when she meets a curious little creature who introduces himself as a music fairy by the name of Lili. This fairy gives the unwilling Kahoko a magical violin, which any one can play. That day, the names of the students who are to participate in the music competition are announced – and Kahoko's on the list! Suddenly Kahoko is thrown into a world of music, where every note counts, where she must strive to be perfect. And then there are the other competitors, a timid girl and five handsome, musical young men who are all effected by Kahoko's music in very different ways. One thing's for sure – Seiso Academy will never be the same.
It's okay since I never read it before....ask those who did read it cause my mind is blank...
Hm...I'm trying remember a manga where the main is the boss of her school (she's a delinquint) She was expelled from school then she went to another and wanted to be a super frilly cute cute girl sadly it did not go well....it's definetly a good manga though.
