Isn't Los Angeles a bit similar to Phoenix ?

I mean, they are not exactly the same, i'm from Phoenix, and i went to LA for 4 weeks, and i noticed, phoenix is like the smaller version of LA. With the freeways, the need of car, palm trees, flat landscape, how the malls are layed out. I mean apart from having a beach and it being super hot here, isn't it just a little similar ?...

EW NO!! We Angelenos are much more awesome, concieted, sexier, and just overall better than pheonix. The weather here is perfect, the weather there is horrid, the people here are diverse, the people there are........well...........its not the same ok.

The ambiance in Phoenix feels a lot different to me than does LA. And LA is a lot hillier. Plus the ocean makes the climate more moderate and not as dry most of the time. The two cities just feel different. Phoenix is still a great city but the two do feel different.

I know what you mean, Phoenix reminds me of some areas of the LA valley, where it's very flat. But there are lots of hills in LA, big hills with great hiking! Check them out next visit!
