TRUE BLOOD question...episode when Sookie sucked Eric's wounds....?

Okay, he convinced her to help him suck out some silver shards from the explosion, in which it made her drink his blood (even though she said she had spit some out--not really trying to swallow any)--but now he is connect to her (ALWAYS) because of the blood... so my question is this, how come when people take "V" the vampires are not connected to those people? They would be able to locate the person who is stealing and/or selling the "V"? hmmmmm thats a plot hole haha. maybe because most the vampires they get the v from are killed in the process its not addressed? my guess is because it needs to be a direct transfer from body to body and not be stored.

In the books it says that a vampire will know how the person who has taken the blood is feeling, not that they would be able to locate that person.
