Help with college major.?
I’m going to see a student advisor tomorrow to figure out what I want to major in, but there lies the problem. The only two subjects that really stand out to me are English and Psychology. The only problem is I have no idea what kind of jobs both fields offer so I cant really decide on a major. Ever since I was little I have always loved books, talking about books, rating books I also have been told I write well and I have always tested out advanced in English so this seems obvious that I would want some type of English major but I have no idea what type of career I could get from this. Then I also love psychology, I love helping people with their problems, I love thinking about and talking about how the human mind works and people always come to me when they need someone to talk to. But a lot of people take psyche majors so I feel like it might be a waste of my time to try to get a job in this field. As you can tell I’m lost, but I’m hoping someone might give me some ideas of possible choices I can make right now, or list some careers that I might like.
