What are your suggestions for the best way to reform health care?

It's clear it at least needs to be tweaked. How, exactly, would you suggest this ought to be done?

The simplest solution would be to open up MediCare to everyone. That would solve the problem of having an affordable option available to anyone who wants it and it would eliminate the problem of pre-existing conditions. Support the increase of competition. The more entities competing the better. Set solid standards for minimal health care and pass laws that enforce them. Obama wants to go in the opposite direction with his public only policy. He keeps saying you will have a choice until all others are driven away and the only one left... More

Tort reform is first, then remove the restraints the states and the feds have placed upon health care. In effect the government has restrained health care and strangled it .
