what am I in for if I become a financial advisor?

I recently posted my resume on monster, and I received an email from Waddell & Reed Inc. offering me an opportunity to interview for a position as a financial advisor. I've read up on the position, but I still don't quite understand what the salary is like. Is it a good an promising job? All I have is an AS degree in Business, and it says they look for bachelors degree. Also is this a job that I will have to put more than 40 hours a week in to, because I was thinking about going back to school and getting my bachelors.

You take on the responsibility of helping someone, a family, or company etc. to spend and invest wiser. I say that this would be a good investment since the world wants to spend and invest wiser due to the ALMOST global recession. I guess, the recession has teached America to spend wiser.

It is commission but they have a program that pays you a base salary. You will be hitting up neighbors and friends as you build your own business. Hours are set by you. You run it with hands on training.
