The role of Family Support Worker involves giving struggling parents/carers advice on managing their childs behaviour etc.You may find that the majority of parents wouldn't take too kindly to being given parenting advice by a teenager.
It's one of those jobs where having some life experience is important if you want to be effective.
I work in partnership with several family support workers and they are in their late 20's onwards...

At my company we advertised for some jobs and got hundreds of workers that applied for the jobs but instead of hiring a regular American they hired someone that was brought over on a special VISA form overseas. I heard there was many qualified applicants but they wanted to pay less so they claimed there was no qualified Americans so they could get a low paid foreigner. I think in today's economy there should be a stop of all immigration. Jobs should be for Americans in today's tough economy! Agree?
