How do you feel about obama's new healthcare bill?
I know that we liberals wanted universal healthcare like Canada and France but Obama made an effort to make everyone happy including the seniors and republicans. I don't think he's a sell out but others have. Also could this public option be little baby steps towards universal healthcare? What evidence can republicans give to prove that this plan is a disaster now anyway?

I support it, I just don't like the part about mandatory coverage if you don't have it. I'll have to look into that part more.

I totally support it. The lies that Fox and the hate jocks on radio are telling makes me more sure that it is a good thing.

President Obama needs to say to hell with trying to be bipartisan. The Republicans have politicized every single issue that's been proposed by the Obama administration. It is anti business. He is introducing a new tax of 8% on a business expense! If the business payroll is $500,000 or more, the business has to either buy health insurance for all employees (which it may not be able to afford) or pay the 8% tax... More

I am a strong supporter of the health care bill, and am sorry to see how politiciced the issue has become. The experts have stated frequently that we need a reform. I do support the idea of giving coverage to illegals and funding abortions, but I am willing to abandon those if nessicary.
