How do I apply for teaching assistant jobs?

I received my BA last year in Social and Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in Social Work and really have had zero luck finding a job. I'm thinking about going back to school for teaching and for the meantime I'd like to look for a job as a teaching assistant. I'm not really sure how to go about applying to a job like this.. do I speak to someone at a school? Search classifieds? If anyone knows..pls help me out! thank you so much!
