How are Real Estate Agent's credentails determined?

I am thinking of becoming a Real Estate Agent in WA. I'm currently attending University of Washington so time is bit tight. However I found this online course available to get my license. My question is, how does companies or customers determine a Real Estate Agent's worth? Do they just see whether or not I have a license? Can they see what Real Estate schooling I went? My test scores?

I would agree with Dog ma. I'm in WA and I would also recommend looking for a broker that offers good training. Personally, I would recommend Century 21 or Keller Williams. both companies have excellent training and are good companies to help you get started. You CAN DO IT! Now is a great time to get into RE. Contact a local real estate agency and see what they have to say. This will give a firm basis to evaluate this online course.

The only way that companies or customer determine your worth is by your production - how many houses you manage to sell. No one will know or care where you got your real estate schooling, just that you passed the test. Passing the test is the least of what you will need to know to be successful in real estate.
