If you're in the USA on a working Visa (ie. TN Visa) and you quit or get fired what will happen?
The question pretty much sums it up. If you're living in the states on a TN Visa and something happens that has you between jobs, would you be deported or what?

You would be expected to leave ASAP Which of course most do as they probably want to come back in the future and don't want an overstay on their record

You are supposed to go home unless you get another job right away. The visa is usually pretty specific about where you work and what kind of work and is meant to be temporary for that job.

if you get fired... you always have the privilege to find and look for another work... you dont have to go back home just because you got fired not until if the working visa is expired and you have to renew it.... be resourceful... and goodluck!
