What are some entry level jobs you can get at a newspaper or other kinds of publishers?

I don't have any real jounalistic education, but I have lots of experience in editing and revising essays, customer service, working with a team, and stuff like that. I currently work as a research writer, but it doesn't pay very well (but can I use it to my advantage on a resume?) Are there receptionist jobs, various assistant jobs, copying? What can I reasonably expect? I don't think so Tim :) That's just a tad too entry level for my liking
