opinions about Carlton's future and there forward line?

with fev being traded and likely to end up at another club next year, who agrees carlton will finish in the bottom 3? carltons problem this year was that they didnt have enough forward options and with fev gone who are they going to kick to? matthew kruzer will most likely play full forward or center half forward, but hes still young how will he `be able to cope having two` or three defenders o`n him like fev did? brad fisher cant kick, garlet and betts are to small and are only crummers, chris yarren is a dud and should be traded, cameron cloke can take a good mark but cant handle the good defenders (scar`let, lake etc) o'halpin he gets lost in the game and still doent understand how to play, so my question is, How is carlton going to make finals in 2010 without any forwards? waites a back man

For the last 11 seasons, one player has dominated in the forward line, sure there have been other greats along side him, but the dominance and skill of Brendan Fevola is one of the most heard of factors at Carlton FC and in the AFL. The reigning coleman medalist, forget his off field troubles, his excellence on field... More

Kruizer and Waite are good forwards

You're right, without Fevola Carlton are deprived of their "most targeted player inside 50" and obviously this is going to mean that other players like Cloke and Kruzer might have to step up, but surely Carlton will have to get some huge trade out of Fevola... More

I bet its a stunt! Carlton are saying now he is up for trade so that it appears they are doing the right thing. However Trade week will come and go and Fev will still be at Carlton, and they will use the excuse that a suitable trade agreement could not be reached... More

Waite can play at both ends of the ground. They might set up a similar forward line to the Western Bulldogs but using Waite and Kruzer. Fisher will be lucky not to be delisted. Maybe they could go after Tom Lonergan,Ryan Gamble or any other disgruntled forward from another club..

How many times does this have to be asked.... I He will be put up there no one will pick him up because Carlton will expect to much money and draft picks/players will keep him and he will play for Carlton next year,

Carl will possibly trade fevola to collingwood. and in return get rusling, ben reid and nathan brown nathan brown defender and rest are forwards, but brown can play forward. so Carl will have to get youth forwards, but can also get robbo from melb for a yr or 2.

with robbie warnock still to play a game. and i have no daut that he will be fully fit next year carlton will focus more on a centre half forward than a full forward as it has always worked for them in the past. which gives you the choice of a number of players. but i will go with cloke at this stage. with fisher and... I don't agree we'll be bottom three just because we lost Fev. Yes, he is a key forward, but there were other Blues who kicked goals this year. It wasn't just a one man side... More

your probably right , hes so expensive , and not many teams would give up thier marqee players for him. he could well stay at the blues . thell want that for sure, but by putting him ip for trade they wash thier hands a little , but thier still a bit dirty if he doesnt get ttraded and they dont sack him.
