I worked on a research ship in the galley, cleaning toilets and making beds. I built my own fence, stripped my cabinets and laid my own hardwood floor. I laid tile, am now putting in a bamboo ceiling. I was a waitress in college.

Liberals are - for the most part blue collar
Conservatives are - for the most part white collar.
Liberals make up the majority of the lower class.
Conservatives make up the majority of the upper class.

That is actually the bulk of my experience. I only crossed over into white collar land a few years ago. Though now both blue collar and white collar is unavailable to me due to Republicans creating sub prime lending to prop up the economy leading to the housing bubble and our current Great Recession.

Of course. Why are you displaying such ignorance and disdain. Not all liberals are college people or office workers? Many of us have scraped to get where we are. And are very capable in the area of self sufficiency. We plant gardens and build greenhouses. Many probably have a very good concept of what living off the land is. Some of us even know what a reload is and how to do it. So think before you attempt to disparage your fellow human being again.

I can tell you for sure that in the engineering classes I took in college there wasn't one lib that I ever met (even all our profs were obviously center or right leaning)....and out of all the engineers I've worked with over the years I can't remember more than one or two that were libs...I've always thought that was pretty telling.
I'm also a former U.S. Marine...needless to say there wasn't a lib swinging dick to be seen in any of the units I was in.

Yes, sir. I used to be a landscaper. I've been a delivery driver. For the last 11 years I've worked in a shop where I cast plastic parts. I've renovated my own house.
And I am a Liberal Democrat who voted for Pres. Obama in order to have him implement his policies.
I am a working man who never got a handout. I am not a victim in any way. I work 7 days a week, taking contracts on the outside to make extra money.
One day I'd like to start my own business, and I don't want to lose my health insurance or go broke paying $900 a month for me plus each employee I try to hire. Of course us working men would be Democrats. Republican policies are aimed at paying tax rebates to people who inherited their money and never worked a day. Or Steven Spielberg, or Ted Turner.

If you don't know the answer to that, you are either ignorant or you are a kool aid consumer.
that question typifies what is wrong with this country. People on the right are getting their heads filled with right wing rhetoric and rather than investigating to see if it is true or not, they accept the lies , half truths, misinformation, and stereo types as truths.

I work in an office, but on the weekends to make some extra cash, I work for antiques dealer moving/delivering large pieces of furniture (Dining room sets, bedroom sets, etc.)
i've built/designed my own theremin, repaired/restored an analog synthesizer from the late 1970's, and have also built decks and painted houses.
Now, the real question: have YOU ever worked an office job or done any secondary education? or do you just make blanket generalizations about people whom you know little about?
