What should I expect at my Kindergarten teacher interview?
I have an interview for a Kindergarten teacher job tomorrow in a public school district. I would be starting mid-year. I have a feeling that I might be asked how I would help the students transition to having a new teacher. Any suggestions of how to answer this? What other questions might be asked? Do you have any other tips for me? Thanks!

You might say something like you will be trying to make the transition as smooth as possible as to not shake things up too much for the children. You should say you are going to try and stick with some of the previous teachers choices and routines, while incorporating what you feel is important... More

just tell em your going to roll house with them kids. any misbehaving will be enforced with detention.

For the first question, you can say that you will be sensitive to the kids and integrate your ideas and philosophy slowly so that the kids can get used to it. Tell them that you will ask the kids for their input as you feel that it is valuable, it helps to motivate, and it helps you to build rapport with them... More
