Why do Comp Sci grads earn so much fresh out of college?
Most of them become programmers anyways.... which I'm sure a decently intelligent high schooler or middle schooler can do. So why are entry-level requirements set at least a college degree?

CS grads earn so much because that's what they're worth and that's the value that they add to the company. If they weren't worth it, people wouldn't pay them that amount... More
