Which certification courses should I take to advance my career?

I have done MS in computer science and have been working with a software firm for 4+ years as a Senior Support Engineer. Its a technical job and I used to love it. Lately, I feel bored with my job duties. Career seems to be stagnant. I am afraid that I will lose my technical skills. Should I take some certification courses to keep myself interested in work? Which courses would be good?
